Meristem
Tissue in plants that are made of meristematic cells.
Glycogen
Used as backup energy and as a starch in animals like this hawk.
Gibberellins
plant hormones that prevent the plant from growing too fast or slow.
R strategist
Even though frogs lay eggs they are capable of producing several of them at a time making them R strategists.
K strategist
K strategists like humans are only able to produce one or a few offspring at a time.

Modified Stem of a plant

Thorns are an example of a modified stem of a plant.
Cellulose
is a compund foound in plants and also in paper because it makes up the cell wall in plants.
Connective tissue
Skin is an example of connective tissue. They aid in major packing material, organ framework, provide lubrication, and in the passage of blood vessels and nerves.
Actin
Protein found in all eukaryotic cells like muscles
Parasite
a parasite like a tick is an example of an organism that benefits at the expense of its host.
Endotherm
mammals are examples of endotherms or organisms that regulate their own body temperature.
Ectotherm
Anaconda ingesting another animal. Snakes are examples of etotherms which are cold blooded organisms

animal with three parts ( head, thorax, and abdomen)
Xerophyte
A plant adapted to an arid climate...like a cactus
Exoskeleton
an exoskeleton is an "external skeleton" that supports an animals body.

ants are an example of an insect.
